Take Away

I’m very into emohardcore (what’s in a name) like At the Drive-In, Thursday, the Mars Volta, Sparta… Crazy hooks, changing rythms, fantastic voices, screams and a pulsing drive.

It’s not all international you know. One belgian band manages at least the same level as the groups above. They even sound a bit as Radiohead, on crack, that is, but that cannot be bad, isn’t it? They are called the Sedan Vault. (more about them about to come)

Their debut-EP ‘Mardi Gras of the Sisypha’ is a concept album with 6 songs and it really rocks!

Museeuw

Man, it felt weird yesterday. Museeuw admitting taking dope at the end of his career. My greatest youth idol cheating us all for a long time. I seriously doubt about the begin of his career now. Man. Man.

They all come together again! Even the Smashing Pumpkins. Guess it has something to do with the high concert ticket prices. More money to gain!

But hey. They may! Bands as the Pumpkins & Rage Against the Machine very moulded my musical taste. Call it youth sentiment, and there’s is nothing wrong with that.

Deportivo La Coruña

I used to be a great supporter of the Spanish Soccer club Deportivo La Coruña. Nowadays one hardly hears from them, but they used to play very attractive and offensive football. I remember one match in the European Champions League where they needed something like a 5-0 win. And they DID it!

Anyway, this is a music log. Not one for soccer.
